The Daredevil & The Ladies Man

Yesterday, Kiss & Cookie decided to take me on an adventure to the park! I thought that this was a great idea, so we loaded up the wagon with snack cups & juice, and headed out on the open road. As soon as we arrived, Cookie was ready to swing!

"Uhh is somone gonna be me out of here? Hello?"

Kiss. What can I say about her? Well she doesn't exactly play life by the rules. "The slide is for kids 5 and up? What does that mean? Watch out, here I come!"
Ready to make the journey to the top!
Almost there!

"Should I do it?!"
"Weeee! This is awesome!"
"I did it Miss A!" I was so proud of her! I remember the first time we went to the park, she was shy about going down the little slide.
So, I'm sure you're all wondering, "What was Cookie up to in the midst of this?" He was doing what he does best of course!
Flirting with the ladies!...Such a heartbreaker.

I want to officially say Happy 18 Months to Kiss & Cookie! They are growing up more and more each time I see them. They can now sit at the kitchen table with booster seats! So happy to be able to sit down for snack with them. I'm so excited to see them learn new things everyday. Sadly, the pool is now closed (even though we will be celebrating summer for another 3 months) but today we went to Splashpad & had a blast!

They Nap, I Blog!

Gac! Gac!
Today was a great day! Every Thursday is Toddler Storytime at the library & we have a blast learning new songs & colors, listening to stories, & playing with bubbles! Today we learned the letter "T" and read about submarines, boats, and things that move. Car rides home are always a little challenging with Cookie trying to sneak in a little nap, but recently I've had to keep my eyes on Kiss! These babies will NOT nap if they get a chance to sleep in the car. As mom always says, 'They will get inside and say, "See?! I took my nap!!" No chance that I will let that happen because F.Y.I-The only way to make it through the day is naptime. "Just chillin in the ball pit with my snack cup. I've sure got it made here!"
Can I take him home this weekend?!
Oh, & did I mention that Kiss & I are part time models?
If I looked that cute in paigtails, I'd go for it!
@ the library waiting for storytime to begin! "We've got our tickets!"
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Work Hard, Play Hard!

When mom & dad are away, the kids will....CLEAN?! Yes, these babies do it all! They make my job waaay too easy!
I think you missed a spot, Cookie!
Of course all of Kiss & Cookie's hard work paid off soon enough, because we made a trip to the pool for some fun in the sun!

F.Y.I.--Do not take Kiss to the pool/splashpad without all of her supplies which include measuring cups, bowls, & other miscellaneous items of entertainment.
Did I mention we had the whole place to ourselves?

"I'm cute & I know it!"
But of course, we had to get out the snack cups for a quick bite to eat!
Stay tuned for more adventures with Kiss & Cookie!

The Nanny Diaries

Okay, so I finally decided to sign up for a Blog after seeing F&Q's page! I think I could make a whole blog about them because they are just so darn cute! It is time to let everyone know what it really is like to be a nanny for the craziest/most adorable twins ever (even though it might take me awhile to get a hang of this thing).

So I have had the honor of being the nanny of what I like to call "The Munchkins" (aka Kiss & Cookie) for about a month now and I am LOVING it! Don't get me wrong, taking care of two toddlers can be a huge challenge but I don't think life would be the same without them. I didn't think it was possible to get this attached after meeting them only a few months ago! By the time Friday is here and I am exausted, I find myself missing them by Saturday afternoon! Is that weird?
Kiss--How can I sum her up in just a few words? She's sweet, sassy, & adorable all together. She's a hard one to figure out at first, but once you do she can make your heart melt just by saying "peeeeease? :)" How can you say no to that??

Cookie--Um...can you say precious?! His infectious laugh and gentle nature is amazing. I think it's safe to officially crown him Splash Pad King. The smile he gets when we are there is priceless.
I have so much more to say and will keep everyone posted about all of our crazy adventures from the nanny's point of view.
