Why I Love My Job

Mr. Cookie:

1. Could he be any cuter?? (Even with PB&J all over his face)

2. His adorable smile makes your day 1,000 times better.

3. No one can pull off pink fleece boots like he can.

Little Miss Kiss:

1. Seriously? Look at this adorable face. Enough said.

2. You will fall in love with her outgoing/sweet personality the second you meet her.

3. She loves to figure things out & try something new everyday. (Maybe I shouldn't have taught her how to use a spray bottle)

Surrender Yer Candy!

The pumpkin decorating contest is close upon us, so the three of us ventured out today in search of some ideas. Target was a miss and we didn't find anything fun so Hobby Lobby was the ovbious next stop. The munchkins are planning on being pirates for Halloween, so I thought it would be cool to decorate our pumpkins like pirates! We found some fabric for bandanas, eyes, cool pirate patches, and foam to cut out for the mouth & teeth. As soon as we got home we began decorating! I love how they turned out!
I'm debating on whether or not they need noses/hair? We are totally going to win first place!

Cookie's Crush

Brittany (my roomate & best friend of 4 years) came with us to Kindermusik today & out for lunch afterwards for some good ol' Blue Baker PB&J! What you might not know is that Cookie has a big crush on Brittany---wait, it is definatly the other way around! Brittany loves this little munchkin!

He is going to be a heartbreaker one day. Watch out girls!

Splashin' & Drivin'

We made the long journey to Spalshpad this week only to find that there was no water to splash with!! :( Well, we were not about to let that ruin our day, so we went back home to make our own Splashpad in the backyard!
Kiss in control of hose=bad news for people with dry clothes.

I knew these fireman hats would be of good use one day!
"ahhhh!"

Kiss loves to admire the flowers...
and awesome Halloween decorations
But Cookie got himself into a little trouble today! There he was just crusin' the streets until suddenly...

BAM! Cookie got into a wreck with Kiss. (luckily, no one was hurt) Cookie did what any toddler would do best in this situation...
RUN!!!
"See ya later!"
We have been having a great week! Stay tuned for more adventures! (& hopefully no more wrecks)

The Boston & The Babies

So guess who decided to pay the kiddos a visit on a rainy Friday morning? My Boston Terrier, Cooper! The reason I mention the rainy day is because when running out to my car that morning to get to work, who should be sitting next to me in the passenger seat when I look over? A crazy little Boston! I couldn't just leave him at home with the sad look on his face of "pleeeeease mom?!" so I showed up at Kiss and Cookie's with munchkin #3!

Cooper loves these kids to pieces! Everytime he sees them, he is more excited than usual. No joke. Sometimes I feel bad that he lives with three older girls instead of two crazy babies who act just like him! The kids love chasing him around the house :-)

Firefighters in Training

Q: Why is Kiss so excited today?
A: Because the Fire Dept. is coming to library day!!!
"I look like a pro!"
Cookie's face is pricless here.

We got to check out the inside of a real ambulance & firetruck!
"Duty calls!"

Okay, seriously...could this kid be any cuter? I think not.
The library days this week were all about safety. The fire department talked to us about getting out of the house when you hear the fire alarm (don't take anything with you!) & how a fireman puts on his uniform in an amazing 60 seconds! The firetruck and ambulance were waiting outside for us to check out and explore. Of course we took home these awesome hats. The next day, a police officer talked to us about how she keeps the community safe & we got to see the inside of a real cop car! (Hopefully that is the last time for all of us!) Maybe we will see a future firefighter/police officer in the family? I think Cookie found his calling!

Quack! Quack!

Texas decided to allow us some nice cooler weather last Friday so we ventured out to Central Park to feed some ducks! The whole way there Kiss was chanting, "Wack, Wack!"
Stay away from the goose! Are they mean? I was not about to take my chances!
They were so interested in the goose. A group close by us said, "Wow, it's taller then them!" (They were right)
She was so excited to watch them eat and swim.
"Hey! Where are you ducks goin?!"

We had a great time feeding the ducks and will be back soon! (When it stops being 90 degrees in October!)
Our weeks at the splashpad have now begun to dwindle down but never fear, we have other means of fun! Library hour pictures soon to come! The pumpkin decorating contest is coming up soon...any ideas?! We want to have the best pumpkins at the library!
